Mustang Cars– History Over 5 Generations

Whenever it is to talk about cars, it will definitely not be a good deal to ignore a large series and range of Mustang. It is a range that has been in the vehicles’ market for many decades and it also has successfully grabbed the desired attention of people and lovers of the car. There will definitely be no need either to highlight the significance of Mustang or to have some dedicated time to comment on it. But here, the history of the mustang cars would be tried to highlight by categorizing it into different generations. If we divide the history of mustang into different generations, we will have 5 different generations that cover almost the era from 1960’s till 21st century.

The production of Mustang 1st Generation Cars was started in 1964 and continues till 1973. This generation had 2 door and 2 seats along mid mounted roadster engine. The production of this Mustang was concluded within 18 months of short span.

The production of Mustang 2nd Generation Cars was started in 1974 and continues till 1978. This generation also had 2 doors but this generation of Mustang was comparably larger than the Mustangs of 1st generation and this was what made it noticeable.
The production of Mustang 3rd Generation Cars was started in 1979 and continues till 1993. These mustang cars were manufactured in three body types and it became famous enough as still it is often demanded.

The production of Mustang 4th Generation Cars was started in 1994 and continues till 2004. This time only two types of bodies were offered but the shape of mustang cars were completely upgraded. These Mustangs were given name as SN95.

The production of Mustang 5th Generation Cars was started in 2005 and continues till present. There are 3 different body types and recently launched 2010 model of mustang cars. These are coming with all the advanced facilities.
