When people hear the term Mustang Ranch there are a few different things that come to mind. If you are talking about cars, a Mustang ranch is the term that some people use to talk about a place where Ford Mustang cars are made. Others talk about a Mustang Ranch as a place to bring up wilder horses. However, out of all these terms there is one place that is actually called the Mustang Ranch.

The Mustang Ranch (also known as the Valley of the Dolls) is a brothel in Nevada. This is one of the brothels that actually lead to the legalization of prostitution in ten of seventeen counties. Later on, the brothel was closed down by the government for tax fraud and, of course, racketeering. However, it has now reopened about five miles away from where it started and still goes by the same name. Although there are a lot of terms that this phrase is linked to you need to be careful when looking up information on it.

Mustang Sally

The term Mustang Sally is used a lot when talking about Mustang cars as a whole. In fact, when people buy a Mustang, a lot of times they will call the car “sally” after the famous song that was called “Mustang Sally.” Although there was never an actual Mustang car that was called Sally, it has been a term that is coined to Mustang cars as a whole.

There are a lot of things that Mustang Sally refers to. One of them is a band that went by this name and a few others would be a movie, as well as a novel. Over time, this term has begun to slip, because the band is not all that popular in this era. However, the song lives on in many peoples hearts and is still used by a few people as a nickname for their beloved car. One day, we may see a come back of this phrase, and you will see more plates on cars that will say Sally, usually followed by the year the car was made. So a 69 Mustang would be called a 69 Sally.

Mustang GT

The Mustang GT is a more powerful model of Mustang than the normal one. In fact, every generation has its own Mustang, as well as its own Mustang GT. When the Mustang first came out, you could get the Mustang GT model with a $400 optional Hi performance parts. These cars had a V8 and usually weighed about 3,000 pounds, without anyone inside of it. The Mustang GT was also a four speed car.

When the Mustang GT came out, it was a run away success, however, a lot of experts did not think too highly of the Mustang GT when it came out. This had a lot to do with the fact that almost every part that was on the car was taken right from the Ford Falcon. Of course, what drove this car's success were not the parts, but the personalization of it. People wanted power, but at that point in time, it meant more just to have a cooler looking car than everyone else. Thus, the power was not as big of a deal.
